LAGUNA RELIEF AND RESOURCE COALITION
MISSIONLaguna Relief and Resource Coalition serves our community by providing for the needs of Laguna Beach Residents in three primary areas.
Disaster Preparedness
When fires, floods, landslides and earthquakes occur in Laguna Beach, Laguna Relief is on the front line with help, support and aid to those in need.
Disaster Response
All donations collected are given directly to the families affected by disasters
We help locate Temporary Housing
We manage contributions of Food, Clothing, & Household Goods
We Coordinate Volunteer
Low Income Family Services
Supplemental food, clothing, & household items
Referrals for social & medical services, counseling, housing, jobs
Life skills counseling for English- & Spanish-speaking residents
Homeless Outreach Services
Homeless Outreach, Management and Education (HOME) program
The HOME program purpose is to:
Educate Laguna Beach citizens on homeless issues & concerns
Reduce conflicts between Laguna Businesses and homeless
Reduce homeless demands on Police Department staff
Provide increased care, evaluation, and placement into available social services, mental health care and shelter
Educate homeless, City personnel and volunteers as to methods of management, care, evaluation, and available services that improve homeless living conditions
